SSLS TUITION AND FEES 2009 - 2010   Preschool Registration:            Preschool 3 & 4   ---   $200 per child   If Currently Enrolled: - Registration Fee due by March 31 - After March 31, Registration Fee is   $300 per Child   Tuition:                     Preschool 3 & 4                   $2375.00 8:00-12:00 Noon Monday thru Friday     Billed in 10 Equal Payments - First Payment due June 10, then, 9 Remaining Payments Billed Sept. - May   (All Fees are Non-Refundable - Fees Subject to Change)   Kindergarten - Grade 8 Registration:            $200 per Child   If Currently Enrolled: - Registration Fee due by March 31 - After March 31, Registration Fee is                                                   $300 per Child   Tuition:                                          Member           Non-Member 1st Child              $2175              $4425 2nd Child              $2075              $4325   Billed in 10 Equal Payments - First Payment due June 10, then 9 remaining payments billed Sept.-May   (All Fees are Non-Refundable - Fees Subject to Change)   Congregational members are required to be in attendance at worship at least twice a month to maintain member rates.   Extended Care The rate for extended care for both preschool and grades K-8 is $2.80 per hour.  Rates are charged in fifteen minute increments.  On days school is not in session, and provided enough students have pre-registered for extended care, rates will be $2.80 per hour.   Payment Plan Registration fees are due upon acceptance of a child's enrollment at St. Stephens Lutheran School.  Tuition is billed by our business office on a monthly basis:  first payment by June 1; payments 2-10 billed September - May.   Extended care will be billed weekly and is payable weekly.   Overdue Bills Monthly billings are due by the 1st of the month and considered late after the 10th.  A late fee of $25 will be assessed to accounts not paid by the 10th.   Bank charges will be assessed for all returned checks.   School Lunch A hot lunch program is offered.  Payment for hot lunches is made through the school office and put into a computerized "family account".  Extra milk or juice for mid-morning snack is available on a semester basis.  Parents are invited to join the children at lunch; reservations must be made by 9:30 in the morning. Tuition Assistance St. Stephens Lutheran Church and School realize that, in certain situations, financial assistance may be needed.  A grant fund has been established to help in such situations.  Applications for grants are considered on the following basis:   1.  The parents' commitment to Christian education.  2.  Financial need is determined through application and interview. 3.  Funds available.   Grant request applications are available in the school office. Gifts The congregation continues to generously subsidize the school both in physical facilities and finances.  St. Stephens Lutheran School is grateful for gifts received from parents and friends.  Gifts may be designated for specific areas such as grant-in-aid, library, computer, playground, or general fund.  An endowment fund has been established to provide for the future of St. Stephens Lutheran School.  All gifts will be acknowledged and are tax deductible.  For further information, please contact the school office.
